Go get it already!
I bought this at RS. 1450 in feb2017. Among all the tanks offered by tamiya this one was the most affordable one. The tiger tank cost around 4000 then.I was delightfully engrossed for days working on it. I used acrylic paint to paint it after watching tank modeling videos of quick kits and andy's modeling on YouTube.Looked great in the end.

Very nice kit - good detailing
Good kit - has the right level of complexity. Happy such scale models are finally available in India.

Not worth it
Purchase the newer kits from Tamiya. This one is a very very old kit from 1974. There are far better & more detailed kits available for the panther than this one

Waste of money, and they're not refunding it either.
Flimsy plastic quality. And sign up at the nearest ITI; you would need industrial level skills to assemble it, and oh will have to learn Chinese /Korean/Japanese language as well (cant figure it out for my life which is it) to decipher the concise instructions that come with it. Stay far away if you're not a die hard fan of this particular kind of kitsch.
