It says that you can't hammer these into brick. But I have and they still work great. Very sturdy and easy to install. The nails only go into brick for the last 3-5 mm of hammering but I managed to get them in. You can't install these into 100% brickwork as the nails would bend.

I was expecting to use plasterboard rawlplugs to hang some heavy pictures following refurbishment. I thought I'd try these rather than start drilling into new walls. They work really well and hold much more weight than you'd expect. I've since used them in other rooms and I can't see me going back to drilling and plugging. I highly recommend.

Ordered the 50lb hooks for a picture I got for my birthday, I expected the hooks to be half as big again as normal two pin hooks but these appeared to be ever so slightly smaller. Irritated that the hooks were smaller I had to resort to the 'bend test' (trying to break them) to convince myself that my expensive picture would not fall off the wall if I used them. The hooks themselves seemed well made and the pins more substantial than normal so if they had been slightly bigger they might have warranted a 5 star review and I would have worried less about using them in the first place - in this case less is not more. To date my picture has not fallen off the wall.

These are really good fixings to attach items such as pictures to plasterboard walls. The nails are really strong, don't bend and assist in retaining pictures on walls. So why three stars? I must have had a bad batch as at least 50% of the hooks would not permit the nail to pass through the right hand hole! must have been a bad day in the machine shop. I can't be bothered re tapping the holes to permit the nails to pass through. Shame really, as the percentage which permitted the nail to pass are really good and do exactly what they are supposed to do.

As someone who cannot live in a house where there are not lots of pictures on the walls I find these particular picture hangers to be excellent. They are easy to use and aesthetically satisfying, much better than just sticking a nail in the wall. Just as important, these hangers are very sturdy and can support heavy frames, within reason. For a really large picture you might need two or three in a row, but that is only to be expected. I am very pleased indeed with this product.

These certainly are for heavy duty hanging.The nails are long ( for a couple of my jobs they were longer than I needed) and therefore provide good grip to the wall for something heavy.I only gave 4 stars for ease of use purely because I had to hammer them a long way into the wall for one mirror hanging job - probably more my issue than the product.

I chose these for hanging something heavy. I needed 2 of them, but figured I'd buy a larger package so I have them handy in my tool box for future use.Easy to use. Easy to nail into the wall. It goes in on an angle and that's what keeps it in place. The hook is a good size and easy to "catch" with the object I was hanging.They are a little big in size, but that's why it holds so much weight. There are smaller versions for lesser weights. Just make sure you want/need something so large before you order.

These hangers are a snap to install and are very sturdy. I wasn’t sure they would really hold 100 pounds but I was very wrong. Best hangers I’ve ever used!!The hardest part was deciding where I was going to hang the frame!!

Bought these to hang a 100lb mirror. Super easy to instal, and with 2 hooks (one on each side) the mirror is hanging sturdy. Has only been on the wall 2 days, but I am sure it will continue to hold strong.
