Get Started in Leather Crafting: Step-By-Step Techniques and Tips for Crafting Success

This is not a complete leather working guide, but it touches on a lot of topics. It talks about stitching, lacing, embossing, coloring, finishing edges, cutting plus a few other topics. Enough information to get beginners started and headed in the right direction, a great book for the price I'm happy I bought it.

There is a lot of useful information inside the book. Internet and Youtube could provide more info but the book has very detailed pictures and step-by-step explanations. Also, it has good examples and ideas for leather goods.

I bought the kindle edition based upon the high ratings. But to be honest it’s a poorly laid out book with limited information behind the high level descriptions. The sewing section doesn’t even include the saddle stitch! Misses out a good introduction section, or any form of structure to the content, not recommended for beginners or anyone expecting a detailed guide to working with leather.
