I don’t know why I didn’t think of purchasing a rain jacket sooner. But I got sick and tired of going out in the rain and getting soaked and having to jerk around with an umbrella. I was looking for a low cost rain jacket that would do the trick. I am very happy with this raincoat. You can adjust the hood so that it doesn’t blow off your head and it keeps the rain out and keep you dry.

What I like about this jacket:-Waterproof-Windproof-Adjustable/tightenable hem and hood.-A fun, attractive, and hard to find color (a bright red-orange)-Two external zipped pockets, and two waist-level internal pockets! This is amazing for such a basic jacket, especially when SO many jackets, even of higher quality and price seem to offer only one small internal pocket, or quite often, none at all.-Perfect for warm rainy days, as it provides zero warmth and has no insulation or even lining-Very compact and portable, easily compacting into its own included small carrying bag-Intelligently designed, and the company seems to care about the functionality of its products.-A very good value/low price.-Fits true to size.What I'm not so crazy about:-It's literally a plastic sheet - thicker than your typical rain poncho, but very stiff and noisy.-Non-adjustable cuffs. The stiffness of the jacket's material makes the elastic, non-adjustable/non-tightenable cuffs fail to make a very good seal around my wrists, and I have pretty fat wrists.-Very thin and actually translucent - If you carry any dark items in the pockets, they can be seen by people (at least for this orange-red color). As I like to carry my dark wallet in the internal pockets of my jackets, it's almost advertised with the translucency of the material.-Absolutely no lining or insulation - I wish they had at least added a mesh lining or something, as the plastic material sticks to your arms if you wear short sleeves. Also, a lining would help to provide a bit of security insomuch as providing a visual barrier (see above regarding the jacket being translucent) - kind of like a security mailing envelope versus a non-security envelope.-Not necessarily a con, but the jacket provides ZERO warmth, so it's only really suitable for warmer rainy days, or to act as a hardshell jacket to go over your own layered clothing selected for colder days - again, this is not necessarily a con.This is a nice jacket overall, very basic and no-frills, with some nice extra features. I think a few minor tweaks could really make this a winning jacket. I'm going to be purchasing Outdoor Venture's next model up from this jacket, which has a mesh lining, pit zips, and additional features, to compare to this jacket.

The rain coat fits comfortably and, so far, does a good job against the rain, (I have only worn it in a light rain). The material is less substantial than I imagined, but is keeping the wind and rain out, which is its job. Not for work or heavy wear, however.

Used as my golf waterproof. My requirements were for it to pack down small and light as most of the time it would be carried; to either have no hood or a concealed hood; and to have elastic sleeves.This does the job on all fronts. It's not particularly breathable and I doubt it would handle hour after hour of rain, but it is fine for an hour or two in light to moderate rain and has a reasonably good quality feel.

I really don't like this jacket - BUT - it works. Keeps the rain off and has kept we warm on the bicycle many times. I'd recommend it, but don't blame me if its not your go-to jacket.

The Jacked fits just right (I bought a 2XL for my 1.88 m / 102 kg size), comes with a practical bag to pack. Nice Colour, and firm zippers. Overall, very good product.
