Birds Choice BCBLUESET Bird Bath, Blue

I am really pleased with this purchase.I never thought I'd be a "bird person" but for some reason lately I wanted a bird bath for the backyard. After reading reviews I decided on this one and I'm glad I did. It arrived quickly and was very well packed. No chips or broken pieces. It is easy to assemble ...the top has a piece of metal that fits into the base and when turned it attaches securely to the base. No fear that the top is going to be knocked off and break.I went with the Navy Blue and Gold colors which are beautiful. It is easy to rinse out and really adds a nice look to the yard. I think the birds like it too :-)I'd definitely recommend this product.

This is a simple, gorgeous birdbath. Vivid deep blue glaze won't peel like the painted resin of some other birdbaths. Cute unglazed bird and leaf design on the bowl and stand. Color contrasts well with green grass. Top locks into bottom with two (not very sturdy) plastic pegs. Made in USA.I bought a RioRand 1.6W Solar Power Fountain Pool Water Pump Garden Plants Watering Outdoor 150L/H to go with it, and keep the mosquitoes away. I like the pump (4-stars). It works really well in full sun. Any hint of clouds and it turns off. Still, it's fine for this use. I use it plain, without any spray heads, which were spraying water out of the birdbath.Net is that I have a sturdy beautiful non-peeling solar fountain birdbath for the same or less $ than other alternatives I saw on Amazon.

If you live in a place where it freezes, don’t listen to your husband, just store it inside during the cold time like the manufacturer says to; because IT WILL BREAK! I knew mine would, and it did!!!! It was beautiful until it literally broke in a complete circle around the base area. Before breaking...It’s a little “wonky” because of how the bowl and base fit together, but it’s not going anywhere so not an issue. Some people might be out off by this trait but can’t really see another way of putting two pieces of stoneware together successfully. It’s a gorgeous piece and worth the price they charge. But heed the freezing warning, or show nay-sayers my review. 🤣

Being a Muskingum Co. native now living in FL, I was thrilled to see Zanesville pottery on Amazon. I've been looking for a bird bath for some time but could not find anything but the molded plastic versions that cost nearly as much as this one does. I'm very happy with the product that arrived. It is identical to what is pictured on Amazon. It's a vivid cobalt blue that is evenly applied with no crazing and the relief design is clearly rendered. It came securely packed with no cracks or chips. The only con is that the locking bowl does not lock on my bird bath. They have inserted an aluminum pin in the underside of the bowl that is intended to twist and lock under the top of the pedestal. My pin is not mounted far enough down to allow the pin to slide under the lip on the top of the pedestal. For this reason I'm giving it 4 stars. The misplaced pin does not effect it functioning as a bird bath. The locking top bird bath and the design of the lock are excellent ideas; Burly just needs pay a little more attention to the placement of the pin. Kudos to Burly Clay for getting out of the design rut that has many Zanesville/Roseville potteries continuing to use dated 80's styles and colors.

The bird bath arrived safely and was very secure in the box, was a breeze to unpack and set up. The weight is substantial - no worries about tipping over in use. This replaces a plastic bird bath bowl that attached to my deck railing and contantly needed to be cleaned with bleach to keep algae at bay. This holds a substantial amount of water and it is very easy to flush out the old water and refill with fresh water daily - no algae grows because the basin is smooth ceramic. I have the bird bath on my deck where I can view it from my dining area and the birds (and squirrels) love it and it is very pretty to look at. I highly recommend it.

I've been wanting this bird bath for a long time, and I'm so happy I finally bought it! It is absolutely gorgeous, and it's so much more attractive than the old metal bird bath I had - which also rusted and encourage algae growth. The "dish" is deep though, and birds seem hesitant to drink from it or bathe in it, so I've ordered a few pounds of polished river rocks to set in the middle. Hopefully the birds will feel more secure if they have rocks on which to perch.I also have a homemade "dripper" hanging above the bird bath - which attracted birds to my old one like crazy, and I'm sure will attract them to this new one once I put in the rocks.No need to worry about this bird bath getting damaged in shipping - it's packed very securely and carefully. I am very impressed!

Like too many disappointed customers, I was initially delighted with this beautiful birdbath. The colors were stunning, it was heavy, and I loved the way the bowl connected to the column. Unfortunately, I did not bring the birdbath in for the winter. Stupid, right? I believed I had read reviews that indicated it would weather the cold. Yesterday when I went out to scrub it and prepare it for the upcoming season, I discovered that the male/female connection had completely disintegrated. I'm giving it three stars because it truly is beautiful, but agree with others that it is extremely porous and needs to be babied. I still think it's the most attractive thing on the market, and am going to buy another one--which will be stored inside come fall. If it falls apart too, guess I'll give up.

This is beautiful! I'm a retired potter and love the look of this piece... looks antique! Went together perfectly... doesn't need to be tightened too hard at all. Packed very well and is heavy but not like the concrete ones that are SO heavy! Plan to bring in during the winter as I know the bowl won't last if it freezes with water in it. Very well made... you'll love it too!
