Not just for art - good for mending furniture!
I bought this paper clay to mend a bookcase that was constructed of particle board. Another bookcase had tipped over during a move and broke off the corner. I used this paper clay to fill in the gaps in the particle board and mold to the corner. Very easy to use, it dried hard and didn’t shrink too much if at all. I was able to add more layers of fresh clay to the old. Will paint over when done. This paper clay tastes good, too. Just kidding, don’t eat it.

Best air-dry clay I've tried
Very easy to use and once it hardens as long as it isn't thin it doesn't break for me or crack

Great stuff. Easy to work
Great stuff. Easy to work, dries without kiln in 2-3 days. White, but accepts craft paint easily. Made some fun stuff. FWI: I combined crayola air dry modeling clay with this since the Crayola clay was yellow. (Many colors) But it's different material than this and it didn't hold. May be operator error. At these prices, a cheap experiment to test and have fun with. Relaxing, self-distracting & calming creative fun. No serious adult should avoid play time with this just because one is a 'serious adult'.

It's good and clean to work with
I like it because it can be trimmed with scissors, it's fun to work with and holds its shape well. I painted my pieces and mod podge them, overall it's a good clay

NICE CLAY
Very nice molding clay. I used it for molding small gourds into turtles, and also to repair areas on a cement statue. Dries completely within 12 to 24 hours depending on the thickness applied. It is soft and pliable to use and easy to sculpt. Will buy again when I need some.

Misleading packaging, not a good buy.
Look closely at the weight. This package is only 4oz. In your local craft stores the packs are 16oz. for usually $10, so you end up paying about $32 for 16 oz, not a good buy, even at a time like this where we don't want to go into stores or the stores are closed because of the virus. Next time I will look to buy from the craft store website. It was my mistake the I didn't look at the package size. The product is a good product 👍 for sure the packaging is misleading. I've never seen a package this small in a craft store.

Modified paper mache
It would be nice if the packaging was resealable. We use some type of zip-lock plastic bags to retain some moisture after using the clay. We also found that we needed to place what we were working with in a plastic bowl with some water in it to allow for working with the clay to derive consistency. It's not a bad product- but be prepared to accommodate drying while using.
