I would like to use it to reduce GERD. It seems work but the taste is bad for me. I would like to take a capsule version instead.

If you suffer from digestive issues, and prefer natural alternatives, this may work for you. Taste isn't too bad if you don't mind black licorice.

DGL... Chewable licorice root tablets work very well for my digestion. Having a better choice over medications has made me ecstatic. I like the pleasant taste, easily chewable, and an accurate dose. I'm so pleased to be able to settle my stomach without my prescription medications. I talked to my doctor about it.

I have used this for a few years now to ease slight heart burn. One has to get used to the taste; but, once past this.....a bottle remains by my bed or in my purse if a little heart burn pops up. It is not a cure for heart burn.....that may come by backing slowly away from things that cause heart burn. Personally, I slowly cut back the milligrams on the proton pump inhibitors until I did not need them anymore. I truly like this product.
