Ok so this pot is very attractive , however I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and he just showed me how it was rusting!!!!! What! Why would they make a teapot that is capable of rusting??? Anyway I can’t return it because I bought it past 30 days, so all I can say is beware !

LOVE this teakettle. my last one had a plastic cover and it melted off onto the stove burner and started a small fire. Fortunately I was right there. This one holds alot more water and is very handsome, easy to hold and easy to dispense water out of. WONDERFUL teakettle for the price.

We only used it two times over the course of three months that we have owned it. Went to use it today and it is full of rust so much for stainless steel .....it is garbage do not buy... I want my money back but unfortunately the return cutoff has passed... it is pretty but it is not worth the money not if it only lasts less than 6 months!!!!

The "wood grain" looks cheap and is clearly a printed design. It arrived scuffed so there are areas where the print has already worn off. The size is nice, but it just does not look good. I would not want this sitting out on my counter top.

I had to return this kettle because of a couple of things:1) the faux-wood plastic coated handle was blistered/damaged in two places2) the tea kettle did not whistle as advertised.The faux wood looks nice in the picture online but super cheap in person. Would not recommend based on appearance and broken whistle. It did boil water, so the basic function works ;)

I must return this product. When I used it, Brown adhesive oozed out of it.

Really cheap Chinese material. Why cant they make stuff like back in the day, when things were made to last out of sturdy material...oh yea we need to profit and turn the planet into a polluted hell hole...good luck future generations cleaning up this mess. Wall-E is becoming a reality.

Smells like melting plastic whenever I heat it up. Even after I pour the water into whatever container I'm using it still smells like plastic which leads me to believe that there is some plastic bleeding off inside the kettle which makes no sense since there is no plastic inside the kettle.

My 4L camp kettle is 45 years old and has sprung a little leak. I have been looking for about 2 years to find a standby replacement kettle.I saw this one and thought it might do although it is only a 3L. (I never could find a 4L with the right spout)We gave it a try on our first camp this year the first of May. Worked beautifully.I thought I would disable the whistle but my husband likes it to tell him inside the trailer when the kettle is boiling on the campstove outside. He says it is awkward to fill from a camp water jug but I thought it was fine.The wood grain look (not real wood) is nice and it feels quite sturdy. The kettle is comfortable to hold and pour with from full.All in all a great kettle.

I like it a lot except for the fact that they say it's a "wood-grain handle." The handle is plastic, not wood. I also wish it wasn't quite so loud. It frightens my pets & hurts their ears. Other than that, I really like it.
