It's a good buy and reasonable price. The only minor issue is that the handle doesn't stay up; it keeps falling on the side and can get hot when the kettle is on fire. Otherwise an overall good product

PLASTIC KNOB
Beautiful tea kettle. I'm not going to use it because the plastic knob on lid is made of plastic and has a sharp point on it. I'm a tea enthusiast and plastic ruins the beauty and feel of this kettle. Please make sure you update your description on line that the knob is PLASTIC
