My curiosity was piqued when I saw this - Mississippi Grogg??? I don’t care for rum, so this didn’t sound appealing. Further reading revealed it’s a blend of butterscotch, caramel & hazelnut, and no rum. With my first mug, I was hooked. The aroma and flavor are unmatched. It’s delicious, fairly priced PLUS the beans are from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. In short, the Rainforest wildlife and environment are protected. The beans are perfectly roasted & packaged by a family owned coffee company in Iowa. Bonus - if you’re Jewish, the coffee is Kosher certified by the Orthodox Union.

Smelled amazing while it was brewing so I was very excited to taste it! It tastes sweet and has a butterscotch flavor most of all. So if you’re not into that maybe skip this one and try another. Very tasty coffee! Excited to try more varieties from this company!

I don't like sweetened coffees- and never use any added sweetener. That being said, I do like flavored coffees of the vanilla, hazelnut and caramel styles. Given the positive reviews of this coffee pod, I was interested in trying it. My wife stated that she was not a fan of caramel and did not want me to buy this for her. In the end, I ordered a small box. Guess what- she really enjoys it as well. I also enjoy very strong brews. This one is on the lighter side- but I guess that ensures that the added flavors can be enjoyed without being overwhelmed by the coffee itself. We would consider reordering. I've tried other flavored coffees and sometimes the added flavor is just too thin or weak. That is not our experience with this blend.

I very much liked the combination of hazelnut and caramel in this coffee. It is very smooth and flavorful.

I had never heard of this flavor or company until I was getting a cup of coffee at my vet’s office the other day. Two hours later I had bought a box. I just brewed a cup & the aroma is amazing. When I first tried it, I could taste the hazelnut but I also thought it had chocolate & vanilla flavors. Wrong! The funny thing is that I’m not normally a fan of caramel or butterscotch coffees. Apparently the trick is to mix them together. I will be drinking this for a long time! Highly recommended!

I got this for the price point. I like "Groggs" and thought I would give this a try. It did not taste bad, and has a very heavy Caramel smell and flavor. (the smell was actually good). To me it had a stronger flavor, (I am a light to medium bodied person). It was not just for me. It was not of poor quality, not cup breaking stuff. If you like stronger coffees with a hight amount of caramel taste, this may be for you. Again, this is my taste, and your may be a different. This is a "Mississippi Grog", and I like the 'Highland Grog a bit better.

This is good coffee. I found it a little mild for my taste. However, I was able fix that in my Keurig by brewing six ounce instead of eight and using the strong setting.

This is a wonderfully flavored coffee. It is on the sweet/caramel side just as expected and a lovely way to start the day. I'm sure it will be great for making hot coffee drinks as the cooler weather approaches too!
