Sunbest Natural White Sesame Seeds, Hulled, Non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, 1 Lbs.

I thought this would be a good product since it cost $12.99 for 2 lbs. It turned out to be a totally waste of my money and time.When I received the package, I was happy to see the beautiful seeds in black color. I then opened the bag, and found it didn't smell good. I thought it will probably smell good after roasted, so I followed the instructions from internet for pre-wash and roasting. When I poured them in a bowl of water, to my surprise the water turned black immediately. I washed the seeds 9 times till the water became light brown, at that point of time, I saw many seeds turned to white sesames. I drained the seeds and spent one whole hour carefully roasted the seeds in batches. After all the hard work, I gound some up to add to my cereal, it smell so bad that I had to throw them out. I am so disappointed with this product. I'm the first one to review this product and I will never buy anything without customers' reviews again.

I've ordered the black sesame seeds from other vendors but I found these to have some grit in them. There is a specific recipe I use them in and when eating them there is a distinct gritty crunch you get unlike any other I've had as if there is some impurity or dirt in there. Sort of ruined the recipe so I won't be buying anymore of this brand.

I bought a 2 lb bag of these black sesame seeds at the beginning of March, 2018. They looked good, but when we started to eat them we found that there were some bits of grit in with the seeds, not enough to break a tooth but enough to make a crunch that was loud enough that everyone in the room noticed the sound. Unfortunately I have had to throw the remainder out. The white sesame seeds from the same company were fine.

Just made a new batch of hummus with my own tahini made from these sesame seeds. They are great lightly toasted and then ground up for anything in which tahini is needed. Good and fresh, and came as described. Good deal, too!

The order arrived BEFORE the scheduled date, which has never happened before. I like the resealable package. Easy to open. They make the best tahini ever. Will order ahain.

I love these. I use them everyday in some way. This was a good price and they are fresh seeds. Love them.
