I had this sent to my sister as a gift and was horrified but what she received. The wood base and hardware underneath were corroded and rusty. Ordered a replacement that arrived in worse shape than the first.

The box the lamp, itself, was in was not sealed on arrival.My 1st thought was that this was a repackaged item, but the wrap on the lamp and plug seemed original and not repackaged.My 2nd thought was that the lamp was more "white/clear" than "orange" - a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT :-(.My 3rd thought was to not unwrap anything, reseal the boxes, and request a return label.My 4th thought was to "just give it a chance". Unwrap it, plug it in, and see how I like it.My 5th - 100th thoughts are to swing back and forth between keeping and returning.On a positive note, the size and weight are good.Thoughts 101+: still thinking about returning...sigh...

My lamp arrived today, I'm unhappy with the color. Its advertised as being orange/red and its actually a very light pink. The plus is, it comes with 3 bulbs total and a dimmer switch. It's also packaged well.

This came with a nice piece of salt, but the base is stained with salt and the bottom screws are rusted and one is snapped off. There is also a little rust on the lamp clip. I am keeping the lamp for now because I am afraid of sending back and getting worse quality. These big chunks of salt sweat so I imagine with all the shipping most have a little rust.

Came in a box that was withering away. Wood is stained from currosion. All electric connections i had to clean by hand. Love the lamp tho. Only one light setting. Other brands are better im sure.

It arrived as an already opened item. The base was cracked, it was corroded on the bottom and the cord had white paint all over it! I also sent one out as a gift. I have no idea how bad it was. When I asked the recipient of the gift if it was ok, her response was "well it's a bit corroded and missing the one bulb and the other that came with it is broke. Also the box had been opened and re-taped with scotch tape" How embarrassing!

This is our second lamp. Our first one arrived obviously damaged and the company wasted no time making it right. Thank you very much!
