Not for fine, shoulder length hair!
UPDATE 2/25/25 Seller reached out to me and offered a full refund with no strings attached. While their product did not work for my fine, shoulder length hair, I really appreciate a company that handles a less-than thrilled customer in a such a great way. Smart move. Even though it didn’t work out for me, that is totally worth an upgrade to 5-star review. After reading bunches of reviews—I thought this might work for me. Nope. Impossible to get these to stay in fine, shoulder length, bobbed hair. Tried a variety of ways. Maybe I am not smart enough to use them. Debating whether I should hold onto them and wait for my hair to grow longer or just give them to my daughter. It appears the effect would be similar to the old “rag” curls my mom told me about when I was a kid. Back to heat styling and old fashioned rollers.

Good alternative to heat curls
The media could not be loaded. I read a ton of reviews on these (here and target.com) so felt obligated to write one too.1st, I have no idea why so many said they’re hard to put in/stay up. I put them up so fast and one handed for some of it helping my toddler get dressed. You have to like chain link them together, but that’s in the directions.2nd, I couldn’t picture myself sleeping in these. Maybe if I got a silk bonnet? I tried to sleep in them one night and quickly gave up. I have the standard Kitsch heartless curler set and sleep in that no problem. Maybe I’ll try to sleep in them again but it was a hard pass the first night I tried!3rd i decided to try them just after a blow dry today (video) and only left them in for about 20 minutes. loved how they came out. Lots of body and waves. The waves fell flat a couple hours after I took them out, but I definitely should’ve left them in longer and/or attempted at night. Willing to try to sleep in them again just for the outcome!I deducted a star just because of how uncomfortable I found them to sleep in the first night. But even just wearing them for 20 minutes after a blow dry, I found them worth it! Something I’ll play with.

A Game-Changer for Thick, Long Hair
As someone with thick, long hair, I’m always on the hunt for styling tools that actually work without taking up so much time. These rods exceeded my expectations and have become my go-to for effortless waves and that Victoria’s Secret blowout look. The best part? They were super easy to figure out, I got the hang of using them on my first try. The people that say the fall out, are not actually using them the correct way. That girl in the video review didn’t twist the rods. You have to cross the rods and then they are in place and stay! You simply have to go almost to the end of your hair, making sure you are holding that section taunt and all the way extended with your arms and start rolling. Tucks that little end in while rolling half way and you’re good. I think the majority of bad reviews are all user error tbh. If you’re planning to leave them in for a few hours, your hair should be about 90% dry for the best results. For a quick blowout vibe, you don’t even need freshly washed hair. Just dampen your strands slightly with your hands, pop the rods in for an hour or two while you’re getting ready, and voila! gorgeous, bouncy curls. In my pictures, I only had them in an hour or two on completely dry second day hair, brushed them out and got a nice wavy blowout look. I’ve also done full out curls too for a Christmas party. These rollers stay in place really well and don’t slide around, which was a big win for me when I’m getting ready or picking up my toddlers toys. They’re comfortable enough for daytime wear, but I don’t use them overnight—mostly because they work so quickly that you don’t need to! The curls also last all day, which is impressive for heatless styling. The key is where your place them. If anyone wants a tutorial let me know!!Overall, these are an absolute must-have if you want salon-quality curls without the hassle. They’re easy to use, gentle on your hair, and deliver consistent results every time. Highly recommend! I’m buying another set!

Worked okay, but difficult to keep in
They worked well when they stayed in, but one would unsnap overnight and they did tend to move around and pull on my hair — even with a bonnet.

Best purchase !
I’m convinced the people who have this low ratings either had thin limp hair or was just user error. I searched a YouTube video and 5 minutes later I had these rollers in my hair. Woke up with fabulous hair. It’s now apart of my night routine! And I’m not sure what some people are saying about the snaps being hard to undo, these are actually easy and normal snaps. Don’t listen to the other reviews just buy it!

they are a little short in length so a little struggling with long hair
work great, not bad to sleep on either... I enjoy these ones a lot

LOL
Can someone please explain to me what the point of these rollers with no buttons or hooks is?? Is this supposed to stay on my head while I’m sleeping? That’s cute.Kitsch’s satin rollers don’t stay on my hair because they’re satin, and their velvet rollers don’t stay because there’s no buttons. Brilliant.

Decent for Day Use, But Falls Short at Night
They’re okay to wear during the day, but not to bed, they tend to loosen throughout the night. Also, they didn’t provide the volume I was hoping for.
