Exactly what you would expect a rose perfume to smell like. It's very delicate and A little mature, but it's like smelling a real rose to me. Beautiful fragrance for special outfits I like to make.

This is a lovely "old lady rose" that smells like my great aunt's hugs back in 1965 when she was already in her 70s. It's immediately recognizable as a rose soleflore and it's a totally linear fragrance - stays the same from first spray to its drydown. Seemed to disappear pretty quickly on the winter-dry skin on my arms but lasted longer on the backs of my hands to which I'd applied a nonscented moisturizer. I sprayed some on my t-shirt, too, and now, hours later, it's still strong. The red rosebud bottle is prettier on its side than standing up.I don't think I'll wear this perfume; instead, I'll probably spray a bit on my sheets and pillowcases when I change the linens on my bed because it smells so cozy. I have a vase of artificial roses in my living room and I think I'll perfume them, too. Really decent value for the money. I've paid more for fancy air fresheners and diffuser oils that haven't smelled this pretty.

While it does smell amazing, the smell only lasts for 5 minutes after you put it on 🙄
