I'm not a massive fan of Meta, and didn't want to like these as much as I do! Are they perfect? Nope! But for this price, its hard to find fault, really.The games are generally good, and there's a lot of them. The monthly fee thing gives you a bunch of free games and a little more, which is okay. We bought it for beatsaber, which the kids love and works perfectly.The goodGood selection of games, easy to set up, battery is pretty reasonable, screen is amazing at this price!The badA little heavy at times, especially for younger users. The monthly payment (an extra thing!) doesn't have *that* much content. But honestly, these are small moans given the price of the unit itself which is amazingly good value!

I've been sceptical of VR headsets in the past, partly because the apps weren't there and decent headsets cost far more than most people would expect to pay. But the Meta Quest 3S may be a turning point.Set-up was very easy and fast, starting with scanning a QR code and using your mobile to complete the process. Getting comfortable with headset with straight forward, and so too was navigating the menus and downloading worlds.Tried just a few worlds so far and I'd say resolution is similar to playing on a PS4, maybe a Switch at worst. Very immersive though and feels truly odd to hold up your arms and see that even they look different. All very smooth as well.Passthrough works great but is a bit grainy. Not really an issue though.Just two issues really...One is that battery life is just 2.5 hours but that's standard for many headset.Second is that it takes time getting used to standing still but walking in a world. It feels really disorientating and even nauseous. So maybe that 2.5 hour battery life is a good thing.Overall, quite incredible this tech is now so low cost.

the goodgreat visualsgood battery life for a wireless head setlooks goodeasy to usethe badhead strap is not up to the job and works loose. go for a quick adjust padded headstrap they are so much comfier.the face shield cushioning is not great applying pressure to the face, after half hour use an area above my eye and forehead was numb. your going to need to spend more on a comfier aftermarket one.the area for your nose is a one size fit that bleed light in and kills immersion as you can see what's going on under the head set again aftermarket replacement fixes this.to spend another £60 on making it great does not warrant a five star review hence 4 out of 5 stars.

I'm having so much fun with it! After the product arrived, I was on it ten minutes later. Easy to set up. You will need a Facebook or Meta account to use it. Seamless options to customize it for yourself. Tousands of games, experiences, apps in the store. Some of them are free and you can subscribe to the Meta+ which is contains many games for a monthly fee. You are able to watch 180 / 360 movies, alone or with your friends. Play together many games. I'm a 3D modeler and using it to explore my own created envirovments in Unreal engine.- Augmented reality is much more immersive then the Meta quest 2.- You can use it with the controllers, or hand gestures as well.- The Battery lasts for about 2hours max, depends on what are you playing on.- The Head strap is comfy, you have to find the right tightness and sweetspot.- The lenses are great, even with my glasses.- Great functionality.- Easy to connect to a Windows PC 10/11 - With Airlink cable or Wi-Fi- The BATMAN game is absolutely EPIC!
