Absolutely fantastic!
After years of not hearing from this trio, it was reassuring to hear that they were back with a new sound. I bought Underneath Acoustic expecting it to be a little singalong but I got so much more. They sang old and new songs in a brilliant acoustic set... its one of the best concert DVDs I have purchased. Standout tracks include Mmmbob, Runaway Run, Crazy Beautiful and With You In Your Dreams. Isaac, Taylor and Zac are friendly and charismatic throughout the show and there is a little "Behind The Scenes" featurette which makes you give a little chuckle. Hats off to the guys, they have proven that they can go from teeny boppers to rockers, this DVD will not disappoint!

This Time Around - their still great
An absolutely fantastic DVD - has a mixture of their old and new hits sung live. Also they do an absolutely touching cover of Teach Your Children.Has the old hits like River, Run Away Run and I will Come To You mixed with newer hits like Strong Enough To Break, Deeper and the very catchy Penny and Me.There is also a solo performance by each of them, Isaac sings Hand in Hand, Taylor does Crazy Beautiful and Zac sings the Walk. They are great solo but also one of their greatest stregths is they can harmonise which can be seen in Teach Your Children. The extras are ok, there a couple of music videos, some pics and a trailer for the forthcoming DVD String Enough To Break.Go on buy it and see a true band at work! You will not regret this purchase

Excellent
I bought this in the city is was filmed, sadly missing the performance itself in Chicago, at the House of Blues. Watching the DVD only made me regret going more, its fantastic. Surprising highlights from little known earlier tracks such as 'With You in Your Dreams' from the first album, and 'River' from the 3 Car Garage EP, and an excellent cover of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's 'Teach Your Children'. The tracks you'd expect to see are there, mostly from the new album. I was almost dissapointed to see Mmm Bop listed on the back cover, but to be fair, they do get the crowd going for it. Great stuff, a fine addition to their current material.

Acoustic love
Now, maybe I am a bit biased. OK maybe more than a bit. But this DVD is a must for anyone who claims to be a Hanson fan. It's 21 songs, a short interview and an even shorter trailer of pure Hanson passion and I guarantee you will love it! This live concert shows just how talented these guys are, each taking turns at piano, guitar and percussion instruments. They play all the old songs as well as the new and throw in a few cover versions for good measure, showing off their own muscial influences. If you can stop yourself clapping and finger clicking along to MMMBop and their cover of Little Richard's Rip It Up then let me know. I certainly couldn't!

Hanson Excellent Concert Video
I discovered Taylor Hanson joined the band “Tinted Windows” (Great CD!) singing with James Iha from The Smashing Pumpkins. I enjoy Taylor’s adult singing voice so I purchased this Concert video. His brothers Issac and Zac are also great singers. I highly recommend the Hanson CD “RGB- Red Green Blue” and Hanson “String Theory”. Listen and you will understand.

TOLLE MUSIKER !!

Hanson rocks . . . really.
It's going to be an uphill battle trying to convince other people that Hanson really and truly--and literally--rocks. But if anything can do it, it's definitely this DVD. I got interested in the band when I saw the Penny and Me video--how can you not be after seeing Tay? I bought this DVD when I saw it was being sold, and after watching I became a 100% fan.The band itself is superb. These guys have talent in spades. I can't think of another band with such raw talent. They get up on stage, just the three of them and their instruments, and they play their hearts out. Every note is precisely where it's supposed to be. Muscially, this is a phenominal concert. Firstly, the vocals are heartfelt. I will admit that it takes some effort to understand what the lyrics are. But when you figure it out, you're always pleasantly surprised. The instrumentals are fabulous as well. I think the boys are particularly crisp on the piano. Zac's playing on "The Walk" is almost other-worldly. Tay keeps you hooked until the very end on all the other piano riffs, including I Will Come to You and With You in Your Dreams. Isaac's guitar playing is crisp and clean and is precisely where it needs to be.The video itself is beautiful--the boys/men don't hurt, of course. The angeles really play to the music and to the atmosphere of the crowd. Watch out or you'll find yourself mesmerized. There is also a great behind the scene clip and a trailor for an upcoming documentary on the brothers. In this concert, the boys cover three songs--Teach Your Children by Crosby Stills and Nash, Aint no Sunshine by Bill Withers, and Rip it Up by Little Richard--and they each get a solo. My Special attention should be paid to The Walk, Rock n Roll Razorblade, With you in Your Dreams, I Will Come to You, and Teach Your Children. The Walk is Zac's solo and his voice is angelic as he sings the heartfelt ballad. Rock n' Roll Razorblade directly precedes The Walk, and is its polar opposite. This is a rock song through and through, making any sane person tap their foot or clap their hands or even jump up and down. The boys' maturity is showcased on reworked versions of their older ballads, I Will Come to You and With You in Your Dreams--a very touching song told from the perspective of the dearly departed. If their talents shines anywhere, it is on Teach Your Children, a cover. Their harmonies are impeccable. If you aren't a Hanson fan, then watch this DVD and you will be.
