Super-Simple Peace of Mind
We all hate it but we all do it - accidentally misplace something important. Some of us also "lose" things to theft or even innocent mistakes. Having a reliable and accurate way to locate the missing item(s) is great way to have some peace of mind in today's hectic life. (Note: this device is not recommend for tracking people or pets.)This MiTag Duo tracker impressed me from the moment I turned it on and it "instantly" (it actually took about 3 seconds) started a connection dialog on my phone. Following the prompts from there had the device added to my Android phone's "Find Hub" app another 20 seconds later. This was one of the most painless set-ups of any kind that I've experienced, since I've been setting things up. You do need to heave the Find Hub app installed, set up, and running for this magic to happen. (The analogous iOS app is "Find My".) Once added to your OS's "finder" app, you can rename it or edit other settings such as "category", users allowed to view the device's location, and sharing. This device runs on a single CR2032 battery, with battery life stated to be 8 - 12 months. I'll have to wait and see where the included battery lands in this range. This tracker is very accurate. It utilizes the proximity of other bluetooth devices (e.g., other peoples' phones) to determine its location, which is then displayed on a map in the "Find Hub" app. The more "other devices" in general proximity to the tracker, the better the location data and, consequently, the accuracy of location. It had no trouble providing the address of its location as well as the general location within the structure, due to other, nearby, bluetooth devices. The package includes the tracker, a "lanyard" with an elastic loop for attaching the tracker to other articles, and a User Manual (which is actually a "Quick Start" guide (see photos). The User Manual is in 6 languages and has Android and iOS instructions in each, along with QR codes to the full User Manual for each language and OS. This Quick Start "Manual" is printed on card stock and is very clear and colorful. I really appreciate that this tracker comes in 100% paper packaging. The tracker seems well made and durable (within reasonable limits) and at the current price point, is a very good value.

Easy Setup but Single-Network Limitation (iOS or Android. not both)
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This tracker is a practical tool for keeping tabs on everyday essentials. Its slightly larger size (about one and a half inches in diameter) makes it easy to handle and less likely to be misplaced, though it’s not as pocket-friendly as some smaller alternatives. The functionality is solid: it plays a loud sound to locate items nearby, updates location via Bluetooth networks, and is waterproof for daily use. While it only connects to one ecosystem (iOS or Android) at a time, the seamless setup through the Find My or Find Hub app made pairing quick and hassle-free.Functionality:The tracker offers core features like sound alerts, continuous location updates, and water resistance. It’s designed for simplicity, with no complex settings to navigate. The ability to share location with others adds convenience for family use.Location accuracy:It provides accurate tracking within 5 meters, relying on nearby devices in the network. In areas with sparse coverage, updates may be less frequent, but it still locates items effectively when within range.Value for money:Priced at 19.99, it’s an acceptable option compared to similar trackers. The replaceable battery and durable build justify the cost for long-term use.Ease of setup:Pairing was straightforward, just press the button, scan with the app, and follow prompts. No technical expertise required, making it accessible for all users.Trackability:The tracker works well in most scenarios, though its reliance on network coverage means it may not always update immediately. It’s reliable for everyday use but less ideal for extreme outdoor or remote areas.Size:While larger than some competitors, its size makes it easier to grip and attach to items without worrying about it falling off. The included lanyard adds versatility for different storage needs.Final Verdict:A user-friendly, durable tracker that balances functionality and affordability. Its slightly bigger design is a trade-off for ease of use, making it a good choice for those prioritizing reliability over portability.

Highly recommended for Android & Iphone!
As an owner of multiple brands of "Find My" bluetooth tags, I must say that these have so far been the quickest to set up. While I will be using it with Android phones, this can also be used with Iphones. My review will focus on the Android side of things. Upon turning the tracker on, my phone almost immediately discovered the tracker. Other brands, and also other tracker from the same company, have taken significantly longer to discover. A simple tap of connect to the tracker and tap of add to the hub and I was done, all within maybe one minute. These bluetooth trackers are slightly larger than other brands, but attribute that to the fact it can be used with iphone or android and the large replaceable battery. My phone will ping the tracker every little bit and hasn't failed at doing that as of yet. I must reiterate as I have with other trackers (android and iphone tags) this is NOT a continuous connection and phones will only ping it every so often for location. When the "siren" is started the sound coming from the tracker is loud enough if quiet, i would prefer it to be louder. The items the tags will be attached to are easily trackable with the Find my Hub and will lead you straight to the last marked location it was pinged at. I do wish the Android app would ping the bluetooth tracker more oftern, but that is of no fault of the tracker. When close to the tracker, using the find hub, you can easily find the trackers using the app that will show how close or far you are from the tracker. Easily recommended for anyone needing a tracker as it is very affordable for four tags and work fabulous.
