Very good quality case which fits well with very good quality protection of ipad. It comes with a built in screen protector which is perfect for use with our young kids. It also has a handy carry strap which is functional and useful as a stand. Well worth the money for exceptional protection in the hands on young kids!

-Rough edges on kickstand make it unusable on delicate surfaces. Designers need to think a little more deeply; it's not just about protecting the tech device, it's also about protecting people's furniture on which the tech device is used. I suspect these particular designers are not familiar with furniture.-For the price, the finish and build quality is poor. For example, there's no hinge for the kickstand, just a flexible strip of plastic that looks destined to break over time due to fatigue. There's also lots of gratuitous fins and vents that serve no clear purpose... like something that might have been designed by a small child for a school project. In a nutshell, it feels like a cheap piece of plastic junk that cost less than 50p to manufacture.In summary: poor design, poor value for money, and a waste of time.

This is an excellent case with a huge flaw. I've tried most of the Surface cases available on Amazon and this one was by the one that felt the best, giving a sense of being well designed. It was tough and my Surface never felt safer. It also comes with a cover for the type cover, which none of the others I tried offered, which was brilliant. Made me even less anxious about damage by protecting the rear of the usually exposed keyboard. Unfortunately, there is one massive design flaw:The keyboard can no longer be detached!This is so frustrating and feels like a blatant oversight, even if it can't be. The keyboard latch ends up being covered by part of the plastic shell, a part that doesn't even seem to be so structurally important that it couldn't be removed. Without the ability to detach the keyboard a major aspect of the Surface value is lost. What you end up with is a floppy laptop!This would have been the perfect case for me if I could still detach the keyboard. As it is, I've returned it and will be hoping for Targus to release a keyboard friendly revision.

Really cheap item. Front screen wasn’t even glued together properly as the two pieces hadn’t been cut to fit. Presentation box looks lovely but the item doesn’t match the quality of its own box. Seller is rude and ignores messages. Amazon intervened in the end to issue me a refund. Do not recommend this product or the seller. Avoid at all costs.

The first one had a small scratch on the screen protector, I return it for an exchange, however this one also as a mark on the screen protector. I would remove it and send it back however I damage the edge of my iPad screen the first time.On a positive note it is very difficult to remove the case after fitting so should protect the iPad within.

I bought this case to protect my surface pro. Having used it for several months, I took my surface pro out of it for a meeting and noticed loads of scratches where debris workplace has managed to get in and trapped behind near the stand. The debris has scratched the surface pro metal back badly.
