This case is well built with thoughtful design to both protect my WD 5 terabit external hard drive and the associated cables. It is a plus to be able to transport and store all you need in one device. Good price point.

I bought this for use in transporting a WD Elements 4TB HDD, the other size WD HDD's are all the same size so it will it them all. I purchased this to replace the original soft case I bought from WD that they don't sell anymore. That one lasted about 12 years or more of carrying it in my briefcase to and from my office every day.This hard case is a good size, the drive fits without too much additional space, it is well padded and hard enough to protect the HDD. The interior has 2 sides, one to strap in the HDD, the other for accessories such as a cable. It is roomy enough to carry a bit more. This was not advertised as a 2 HDD case. The side where the HDD straps in has additional padding between the Drive and the exterior hard case. The exterior is a plastic formulation. A padded flap then sits on top of the Drive to the interior of the case. It appears well made, the zipper has a small handle to open and close, there is even a small metal ring attached to a cloth strap sewn into the other end of the zipper and a small carabiner included. It looks like the Drive will be well protected as there is a close fit to the height. There is about 3/4" to 7/8" additional space to the long axis, but the width is a snug fit. An elasticized band hold the drive tightly, on the opposite side of the case there is a half high net with elastic band top to hold a cable or other small items. I am pretty particular when it comes to items like this and I would recommend this case.I take care of my things, I think a HDD would survive a short drop without damage but this is NOT rated for any drops. I would trust the case if a minor amount of liquid hit it, such as a light rain for a short time if you carried this in your hand from building to car lets say.

I have bought many of these through the years. They are sturdy, i feel safe keeping a drive in while traveling, and the added sleeve for micro sd cards is great...I often keep a few of those with me for working on airplanes when its not practical for connecting an external drive...then when i get to destination its easier to synch up...basically a micro sd card for each drive as working space.

I bought this case for a Nintendo DS Lite and am pretty happy with it. The console tightly fits underneath the thick elastic strap and there is enough room on the other side for its power charger, and a couple of game cartridges.
