Q: My hair is naturally oily, but I am looking for a natural shampoo. Would this just make my hair worse because it is made of oils?

I also bought it because my hair is oily. It has not made it worse, but it does not make it better. Having said that, I have yet to find a shampoo that can reduce the amount of oil production. But it definitely doesn't make it worse! Also, it does suds up which is important if your hair is greasy otherwise you feel like you haven't washed it.

Q: Does this contain Keratin, gluten, or formaldehyde?

There is botanical keratin. The bottle says sulfate free and nothing in the ingredients would make me believe it has formaldehyde or gluten. The ingredients listed are aqua, sodium cocoyl, isethionate, cocamidopropyl Betaine, sodium Lauroamphoacetate, sodium methyl Cocoyl Taurate, sodium lauryl glucoside carboxylate, lauryl glucoside, sodium cocoyl glutamate, acrylates copolymer, Coco-glucoside, glyceryl oleate, caprylhydroxamic acid, glyceryl caprylate, glycerin, sodium PCA, D-Panthenol, Argania spinosa (argan) oil, botanical keratin, Prunus persica (peach kernel) oil, Prunus dulcis (almond) oil, simmondsia chunensis (jojoba) oil, Camellia sinensis (Camellia seed) oil, natural (vanilla/honey) fragrance, persea americana (avocado) oil.

Q: Is it tested on animals?

You know, I'm sad to say that I didn't even check on that before I bought the product! Your question made me go look on their website - and thank goodness, they do not test on animals. I found this info in their FAQ. Whew!Q: Are your products vegan-friendly?A: Yes, our products are vegan-friendly. None of our products contain animal-derived ingredients or have been tested on animals.
