Q: Does this bag have shoulder straps? Thank you!

I wouldn't call them "shoulder straps" but if the bag is not too full, my wife uses them to carry the bag on her shoulder. We think that these are great bags.

Q: What is the distance between the handles? I do embroidery designs and need to know for the embroidery field. Thanks

on side without pocket the inside distance between handles is 8 1\4 inches. the height in that area between top edge and blue bottom is 11 1\4 inches

Q: How much weight can it carry?

Not sure, but it is VERY sturdy. We packed it with a vase, flowers, charging plates, decorative stones, heavy crystal candleholders, and two pairs of heels. It held strong even though our shoulders were in pain!
